A hobby farm in Richmond is one of our latest projects to go solar!
Running a hobby farm on property that includes an out building, an office building and a residential home still has high electricity demands.
In a movement towards providing employees with better work-life balance, this business makes the office building, and the entire farm, accessible to employees who either work from home or from other local offices. Having a central meeting area on the farm for employees has been a progressive move to build employee morale while providing a relaxing, peaceful work environment steps away from downtown Vancouver.
Farming initiatives include a full vegetable garden along with plots for staff. A fruit orchard with various berries are grown as well. Beach sand volleyball courts and clay tennis courts provide sports and recreation opportunities for employees.
