Rubber Roof

It is only in the past 10 to 15 years that Rubber Roofing has been perfected. Generally this product is made from reground rubber car tires that have a few additives mixed into the blend to provide colour and Ultra Violet (UV) protection.

The leader in this development is GEM Manufacturing in Calgary, Canada. They manufacture under the EuroShake and EuroSlate Labels and in BC the product is marketed exclusively by Penfolds® Roofing under the EcoRoof® Brand.
