At Penfolds Roofing we have created a division who deal exclusively with Multi-Family Re-Roofing Projects and we have in-depth experience in working with Strata Councils.

In quoting to install a roof on a Multi Family Complex we are aware that it can take a few years before a project actually commences. Consequently we will provide a Budget estimate initially and will update it over the years until the roofing project commences. This enables the Strata Council to be fully informed on roofing product options as well as the pricing for each roofing option. At Penfolds Roofing we are even able to provide financing for Strata Councils.

Generally these estimates get broken down into three phases all of which are provided as a free service even if the Strata Council chooses to proceed with another roofing contractor:

1. Budget Estimate and Pricing

The Budget and Estimate pricing will provide the council with the information and prices needed for a few alternate roofing systems.

This information will allow the Strata Council the opportunity to budget the funds needed for the Roofing Project.

2. Estimate Update

An estimate update is usually done about one year after the initial Budget Estimate is done and takes into account any changes or product improvements that may have occurred since the initial estimate was prepared.

3. Final Estimate and Scope of Work

The final estimate and detailed written scope of work is usually prepared in the year that the work is actually going to get done.

Normally our Technical Advisor will attend the Strata Council meeting to fully describe the product and process that we are going to follow in replacing the roof. This will allow the Strata Council Members to ask any questions or uncertainties they may have.
