When Penfolds are invited to estimate a roof replacement we will visually inspect the chimney to ensure that it is in good repair for the next number of years of it’s service.
In specific we will inspect:
- The counter-flashings which may be mortared into the chimney
- The condition of the mortar between the courses of bricks
- The condition of the pot & crown on the chimney
In the customized proposal that Penfolds Roofing prepare for our customer a detailed scope of work and pricing will be provided at the same time as the roof replacement proposal is drawn up for the chimney refurbishment including entirely rebuilding the chimney if necessary
